Synopsis:

In X-Men: The Last Stand, a pharmaceutical
“cure” for mutancy threatens to alter the course of
history and the stability of the mutant community. For the first
time, mutants have a choice: retain their superhuman abilities,
though it isolates and alienates them, or give up their unique powers
to fit in as “normal.” The opposing viewpoints of
peaceful mutant leader Charles Xavier and his militant counterpart
Magneto, who believes in the survival of the fittest, are put to the
ultimate test – triggering the war to end all wars!

Returning X-Men
favourites Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Storm (Halle Berry), Rogue (Anna
Paquin), Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) and Professor X (Patrick Stewart) are
joined by a host of new faces, including Beast (Kelsey Grammer),
Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page) and Angel (Ben Foster) to do battle against
their power-hungry counterparts led by Magneto (Sir Ian McKellen),
Mystique (Rebecca Romijn), Pyro (Aaron Stanford) and Juggernaut
(Vinnie Jones). Further complicating matters is the resurrection of
Jean Grey (Famke Janssen) as the all-powerful Phoenix… a force
that the X-Men must keep in check as the opposing Brotherhood seeks
to unleash her destructive power upon humanity.
