. Telos Publishing Ltd are delighted to announce that their two June titles will be launched at the next British Fantasy Society Open Night, on 4th June 2004.

Breathe has been described as The Office meets Night of the Living Dead and is an incredible rollercoaster ride of zombies, death and mayhem in a London office block. Film interest is also running high on the book. Christopher Fowler is the bestselling author of many novels including Spanky, Roofworld, Soho Black and Full Dark House and is always a popular speaker.

The Clockwork Woman is a new Novella in Telos’ acclaimed Time Hunter series and mixes the Frankenstein legend and the Rights of Woman with a dash of pure fantasy science fiction. It is the first book from journalist and ex-performance poet Claire Bott. She says about the book: ‘I’m not sure what this book is. An SF retelling of the Pinocchio story; a gender-reversed Frankenstein; a coming-of-age parable Pygmalion and Galatea with a twist? Anyway, it’s got plenty of hairsbreadth escapes, kidnappings and flights over the moors from psychotic robot dogs in it, so that’s all right.’

The event will be upstairs at The Princess Louise pub, High Holborn, London, from 6.30pm (nearest Tube: Holborn). Free entry, everyone is welcome. Both authors will be in attendance to talk about and to sign copies of their books. . ]]>
