DEAD SCARED

Billed as ‘The Evil Dead’ meets ‘Scream’ this is an amusing if a bit dry horror comedy.
No real new ground is covered – frat initiation, American teenagers, haunted house and a load of kilings. But for whatever reason this is not a bad film.
It must be noted though that this film in no way is a cross between ‘The Evil Dead’ and ‘Scream’ – but there is a huge Evil Dead influence throughout the film in both look, story and the presnece of a photo of Burce Campbell.
