Clerks 2

Back with a bang, Dante and Randal star in the only sequel that matters, coming to DVD 19th February 2007 ~

Paramount Home Entertainment presents Clerks II from acclaimed director Kevin Smith. This hotly anticipated sequel to the 1994 cult hit ?lerks?revisits best friend duo Dante and Randal as their livelihoods undergo major developments, altering the discourse of their lives in a completely new direction?n

Ten years have passed, and the story follows Dante Hicks (Brian O?alloran, Clerks, Dogma, Chasing Amy,) and Randal Graves (Jeff Anderson, Clerks, Dogma), growing up and facing shocking new prospects such as marriage, leaving New Jersey and finding real careers.

The double act have invaded the world of fast food, landing themselves burger-flipping at Mooby? fast food restaurant. The lazy duo are joined behind the counter by uber-nerd Elias (Trevor Fehrman, Cheats), and ultra sexy manager Becky (Rosario Dawson, Sin City, Alexander, Men In Black II) – leaving them free to offend their customers, debate the absurd and analyse their fellow staff.

Riotous debates rage between Dante and Randall, from discussing the merits of George Lucas to Peter Jackson and Jesus. When Dante announces that he is leaving New Jersey for good to marry Emma Bunting (Jennifer Schwalbach, Jersey Girl, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back), Randal plots a going away party so shocking it draws interest from the police and fire department ?an evening none of them will forget.

Smith has created a film that captures the spirit of the original while standing alone as wickedly witty classic. Featuring a young, dynamic cast including a cameo appearance from Oscar winner ?Ben Affleck, Clerks II revisits the lives of two of cinema? most awesome no-hopers, with razor-sharp banter.

Released by Paramount with a host of extras, this insightful take on the reality of life and its hilarious particulars makes a glorious follow-up to its world-famous originator.

CLERKS II is available to buy from 2007 from Paramount Home Entertainment (RRP ?9.99) Certificate 15 (UK) 18 (EIRE)
